I don't know why, but whenever I use coupons I always feel a little embarassed. I know thats terrible and a lot of you may give me crap for feeling that way, but I can't help but feel a little cheap. lol. Just curious as to how other people feel. Coupons really help!Do you feel slightly embarassed using coupons?
I work at a grocery store and when someone hands me coupons... cool that's nice for them. I don't mind doing them. When the coupons don't scan or work, I'll manually put the coupon in for them.
But I hate using them and I feel embarassed too! Like they stare at my coupon and I always think they will deny it or think I am cheap =(Do you feel slightly embarassed using coupons?
Sometimes I feel embarassed too, but not using a coupon would be even sillier! They are very helpful. I think it has to do with how often you use them; if you buy with coupons all the time then you probably get used to it and wouldn't feel embarassed. These days I go searching through the coupon section in the Sunday newspaper every week to see what I can find! It's fun, especially when you start adding up your savings.
Heck, no! I love coupons, especially when they're doubled.
Stand back for a minute and observe the lines. You'll see lots of people who use coupons. There are websites by people who have turned it into an art form. They routinely pay $75 for $250 worth of groceries (or some absurdly massive savings). There are websites that can maximize your savings by listing when and where the best deals are with the best coupons, etc.
My shopping motto is ';Never pay full price for anything.';
No way! I am not embarassed to use piles of coupons and buy all of the items of clearance either! Being cheap is smart. It's better to be seen as cheap rather than broke! Think of all of the people with tons of debt who are making large purchases? Don't feel bad about being an intelligent consumer.
Nope, the older I get and the more developed my family becomes the more I love coupons.
Between coupons and my Kroger plus card (discount card) I can get $300 worth of groceries for roughly $175. That helps a lot when that money can be used for bills or for vacations.
Hell no!. but i suppose it depends. i don't use the grocery coupons because i don't buy food that way. i buy food based on what i'm hungry for not by what's on sale. however, 20% of stuff at Lowes up to $3000 ? now that's another story, that $600 can be better spent, by... buying more stuff at lowes.
I use them all of the time and my market doubles them up to 1 dollar. At the end of the tally check, depending on the number of coupons and market sales I save $10 to $25.
Every penny saved helps!
Nopppe. when we buy something that's not on sale it's considered a splurge in our family! ha! way to save money. maybe you can go to hawaii someday
Lol nope not at all! My mom uses them all the time, as long as my parents are saving money its all good! (The money that they save, they usually spend on me lol!)
When you use coupons the issueing company is happy their promotions are working.
Never feel embarrassed about saving money.
Not even slightly.
I have always used them, not just lately...I could not care less how people view me about anything...
No. I like to save money.
