Before I was married, I was to lazy to use coupons. Now, I cut out and organize the coupons and my husband and I go grocery shopping together. Do you use coupons? Why or why not? You really can save a lot of money by using them.Do you use coupons? Why or why not?
Using coupons is a good thing, you can save a lot of money.....if you use them correctly!
The one problem is that sometime you will see a coupon that is a great deal and buy that item because of that......even if it's something you wouldnt normally buy!Do you use coupons? Why or why not?
I use coupons very infrequently because they are usually for processed food which is overpriced in the first place. How often do they have coupons for lettuce or flour? The coupons merely bring the price down to less outrageous. I think I save more and get better food by cooking most everything from scratch. No pancake mix in this house. I watch for good sales on basics like canned tomatoes and stock up, and shop at places like Costco where prices really are good.
I don't usually clip them unless it's for something that I must have the name brand. Otherwise, I'll buy the generic or store brand because it's generally cheaper, even with a coupon, than the name brands.
Also, I end up spending a lot of time looking, and sometimes the best deals aren't all at the same store, and I am not about to drive to two stores to save $0.85 or something.
I have always been a ';bargain hunter'; and usually wont buy something unless it is on sale. I have done coupons since I was little I used to cut them out for my dad but he would always forget to use them. Now that my fiance and I have our own home we use coupons (at least I do) my fiance thinks its a waste of time to save 35 cents on something but everything is SO expensive today. The only problem is..I cant find coupons a lot and we buy a lot of off brand things and those dont usually have coupons for them
I was just looking through our weekly circular today for coupons. There wasn't a ONE! Just flyer inserts on 'store specials.' I am going to try searching online for some printable coupons for my favorite products and see if the manufacturers are offering them online! Way things are this day and age, we simply have to cut every penny possible! Good luck.
I use coupons, but I am selective. I don't clip coupons just to save a few cents. The coupon has to be for a brand/product that I know and trust.
On occasion, I will use a coupon to try something new, but mostly things are tried and true.
I haven't found that I save all that much.
sometimes l do and sometimes l don`t
Always, get the sunday paper.. I go to the machine and grab 2 out, double the coupons...
ALDI, don't take them. They get 99% of my grocery money.
I do but the main ones we get here are for fuel. And with a big van to run every bit helps. :)
