When buying their own, they are actually saving money because they won't have to pay out full face value.
When buying competitor's , they make money by redeeming them back to competitor for full face vaue. (arbitrage)Why would a company buy their own or competitor's baby formula coupons (retail checks) or samples on eBay?
Good question. If they wanted to reverse engineer the competition, or evaluate their formula, all they would need to do is go to the local grocery store and buy it.
To buy samples and coupons on eBay to deny them from the public is a waste of money and a source of revenue for the competitor.
Are you sure you have your facts right?
