There are some that do not have a way to tell them to take me off their mailing list. I have at least 30 spam type emails a day and several that do not go straight to spam. I understand what you're saying but it's not spam if you opted in to their mailing list.
But EVERY email they send must have a link to remove yourself or they are not complying with the current laws on commercial emails. Sometimes the links aren't very easy to see, but they really should be there.
