Go to control pannel, then to ';printers and other hardware'; (or possibly ';printers and faxes';) and see if the printer that is set as the default printer (it'll have a check mark by it) is the one that you currently have connected to your computer. If it isn't, then right click on the printer you want to use and select ';set as default printer'; from the menu.
